Entice Rovers to do business with you by offering a special deal during check-in
DDx Media runs a program called edRover, which helps businesses gain traffic from families in their community and easily donate to their customers’ favorite schools every time someone visits their location. It’s a great tool for community involvement and a wonderful addition to any business’ marketing toolkit.
EdRover started with an award-winning mobile application that consumers use to find local businesses that offer a donation every time the consumer “checks-in” by using the application. Since the consumer is allowing edRover to use GPS to locate them and make sure they are in tight proximity to the location before collecting a donation. Businesses pledge a monthly or annual amount, and from that amount we set aside a budget to give away $0.10, $0.25, $0.50 or $1.00 every time a “Rover” visits.
During the check-in process, a special offer from the business appears to the consumer, and the consumer can share the business on Facebook, Twitter, or invite friends to join them with text messages or emails about the business. They can also leave little love notes in the form of comments, ratings and photos for other Rovers about the location.
Businesses can sponsor check-in spots at their own business locations or they can sponsor check-in opportunities at schools or community landmarks. Every business that participates gets a great turnkey marketing program with amazing mobile, social media and local search elements combined into one convenient package. They also get great satisfaction, visibility and improved brand preference by giving back to their community.
